Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Running Sony ST21i Leaks
There’s supposed to be a leak or two every day, eh? Today, the guys over at Techblog posted a couple of live shots of the Sony ST21i, a device that’s supposedly targetted at the entry-level. The ‘ST21i’ name sounds more like a code-name, and there’s no moniker that’s been leaked apart from the code-name, yet.
Some specs were also revealed, which you can find below.
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sony’s custom UI on top
- 3.2″ LCD display of 480×320 pixels resolution
- 800 MHz processor, Adreno 200 GPU
- 3 MP camera on the back, no LED flash, video recording (640×480 pixels)
- 512 MB RAM
- 1460 mAh battery
There are 3 capacitive buttons on the bottom, off the screen, so if you’re wondering if the already tiny screen will seem more tiny due to the on-screen buttons (ala Galaxy Nexus), then don’t worry.
Those really are quite poor… er, entry-level specs, and I’m not sure if the experience will be smooth, but we’ll see.
