Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Finally Rolling Out To Nexus 4, LTE Hack Fixed

It’s rare that an updated version of Android is pushed to all the Nexus devices except the latest one. The Nexus 4 is finally getting the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, but if you were using that LTE on Band 4 hack, know that Google has fixed it, as Brian Klug reports.

Apart from that, Google has added a couple of new sounds to the system, and you also get the time remaining to download/install an app in the notification bar. Quick settings also see a slight improvement, in that you can long press on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons to toggle them. Single tap will get you into the respective settings, which seems sort of opposite of what you’d expect.

That’s all about it, for now. You can download the OTA zip directly from Google here, if you cannot wait.
