Google Offering Unlocked Galaxy Nexus For $399
I barely managed to not scream when I found out Google is offering its Galaxy Nexus for a measly $399, via its Play store. The device is the GSM HSPA+ version and comes with 16 GB internal memory.
While it does certainly seem short on the memory side of the things, I’ll give you a quick overview of the specs of the device -
- Pure Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
- 4.65″ Super AMOLED display of 1280×720 pixels resolution
- 1.2 GHz Dual core processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU
- 5 MP main camera with LED flash, can record 1080p video at 30 FPS; front facing 1.3 MP camera
- 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, not expandable
- Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, GPS
- 1750 mAh battery
To sweeten the deal furthermore, the Galaxy Nexus will come with Google Wallet pre-installed. You also get a $10 credit to start your Wallet experience.
If you’re in the US, and want to check the deal out, head over to the Devices section. [Direct Link]
I’d have got it if it was available in my country, India. But it seems like it’s limited to the US, at the moment. Hey Google, stop being racist.
