Google’s Joshua Bloch Says He Did Copy Java Code Found In Android

Much as Google may like to deny it, or escape, this may come back to haunt them till the case is settled. The California based company’s chief Java architect, Joshua Block, has revealed he may have likely copied the code he contributed to Android, from Sun/Java. The said lines of code were removed from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, further proving that Google did believe that it had committed a mistake by not getting a license from Sun/Oracle.

Google kept asserting that it had used clean stuff while creating Android, and that Larry Page took it seriously. That, according to it, meant that they couldn’t infringe upon other companies’ IP. Bloch, the person in question, says that he is willing to believe he copied the exact code, and that he’s sorry that he committed the mistake.
