HTC Jetstream aka Puccini Goes Official, Costs A Bomb
The long rumored HTC tablet, the Puccini, has been made official, finally. It is now called Jetstream.
The tablet launches in the US on September 4, priced at a whopping $699 on a fresh two year contract on the AT&T network. Below is the spec sheet:
- Android 3.1 Honeycomb with HTC’s Sense UX for tablets
- 10.1″ display of 1280×800 resolution
- 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Dual Core processor
- 8 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, can record full HD videos (1080p)\; 1.3 MP front facing camera
- Memory expandable upto 32 GB with a microSD card
- 7,300 mAh battery
Note that the $699 price is on a contract. If ever there was something called insanity, this is it. Looking at another firesale in the future, are we? I’d love one.
