LG Optimus 3D Max Comes With Gingerbread, Dual Core Processor

LG Optimus 3D Max

What do you get when you overclock the processor and add a new word at the end of an existing device which has flopped? You get a new device! That’s what LG did with the Optimus 3D. They have launched a new device called Optimus 3D Max. Before I talk more, I’ll lay down the specs below -

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread (yes, I’m not mistaken) with LG 3D UI
  • 4.3″ TFT LCD display of 800×480 resolution
  • 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU
  • 5 MP dual camera on the back, LED flash, 1080p@30fps (2D), 720p@30fps (3D), front facing VGA camera
  • 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC
  • 1520 mAh battery

I don’t get this 3D fad. More so, I don’t get why’s LG doing this. They had the Optimus 3D last year, and it’s no secret that it flopped. The same’s going to happen to the Max, and then there are not many improvements. And it runs Gingerbread. Seriously, LG?
