There’s a Galaxy Note competitor in town, guys. LG calls it the Optimus Vu, and it has put in a 5″ IPS display, a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.
The display comes with an aspect ratio of 4:3, with a 1024×768 resolution, responsible for the wider display (than the Galaxy Note) of the Optimus Vu. Here are the specifications –
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 5″ IPS display of 1024×768 resolution, ~256 DPI
- 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor, Adreno 220 GPU
- 8 MP main camera, LED flash, full HD video recording; 1.3 MP front facing camera
- 32 GB internal memory
- LTE, DLNA, HDMI
- 2080 mAh battery
I’m not sure what LG aims to do, now. The Galaxy Note is everywhere (at least in adverts) and LG hasn’t done anything much to differentiate, save for that 4:3 aspect ratio. Total timing fail.
