LG: We’re Planning To Push Ice Cream Sandwich Update To Optimus 2X And Other High-end Devices
Just a couple of days back, LG had announced that it is all set to push Gingerbread update (announced by Google on December 6th, last year) out to the Optimus 2X, Optimus Black, and the Optimus 3D. Now it has released an official statement (on its Facebook fan page, wow) saying that it is planning to push the Ice Cream Sandwich update to the world’s first dual core smartphone, the Optimus 2X, apart from other high-end devices.
Now, LG had to issue an official statement, because some blogs (and bloggers) were spreading rumors that the Korean company wouldn’t be pushing ICS update. So much to, ahem… have something to write, eh? So much fail, I’d say. Either ways, LG must have silenced all the rumor mongers.
