Motorola’s Droid Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD And Razr M Official – Still Don’t Run Stock Android

Motorola Droid Razr HD

Google-owned Motorola today announced 3 new phones, just some time after Nokia unveiled the new Lumias. The three devices announced are the Droid Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD and Razr M. The Droid Razr M is special and a bit different that the former two, and you’ll know why, below.

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD

The specs of the Droid Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD are all same, save for the battery in the Maxx HD. Without wasting a lot of time (I know, it has been a tiring day.), here are the specs –

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Moto Blur on top (Yes, you read that right)
  • 4.7″ Super AMOLED display, 1280×720 pixels
  • 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor
  • 8 MP rear camera, LED flash, 1080p recording; front facing 1.3 MP camera
  • 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, Hotspot, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
  • 2500 mAh battery (Razr HD), 3300 mAh batter (Razr Maxx HD)

Motorola Droid Razr M

Apart from the Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD, the company also announced Razr M, which actually looks better than the former two devices. First of all, it’s got an edge-to-edge display, with only some bezel on the top and the bottom.

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Moto Blur on top (Yes, you read that right)
  • 4.3″ Super AMOLED display, 960×540 pixels
  • 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor
  • 8 MP rear camera, LED flash, 1080p recording; front facing 1.3 MP camera
  • 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, Hotspot, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
  • 2000 mAh battery

The Droid Razr M will be available for pre-orders starting today, at $99, and will arrive in stores next week. Oh, another interesting bit that Motorola-Google announced today is that they’ll be trying to update most of the devices from 2011 to Jelly Bean. If they fail to update a device launched after 2011 to JB, they’ll give you a $100 credit, toward any of the three devices announced today. Sound exciting? Sure! The Razr M does look quite good, especially in white.
