Microsoft Wants Android Users To Automate Their Lives, Launches on{X}
Before you go ballistic and say WHY THE FUCK is Microsoft launching another app for ANDROID, let me make it clear – Microsoft is a software company. Yes, they are only a software company. If that weren’t true, there wouldn’t have been Office for Macs, seeing the Macs directly compete with PCs running MS’s Windows.
With that aside, here’s on{X} – pronounced as on x, a tasker. It’s basically IFTTT for your phone, with a really user-friendly UI, unlike Tasker. Not only is the UI user friendly, it’s also very good looking, which is a good thing, always. However, unlike in Tasker, you won’t be able to create rules, aka recipes, on your phone. You’ll have to launch the website on your desktop, login with your Facebook account and create them recipes. Microsoft has some already, so you can make use of those as well.
If that’s something you may want to try, you can download the app from the Google Play store. I’ll be giving it a spin in some time.
