Opera Browser Beta Debuts With A Fresh Design And Webkit Engine

Opera had announced in February about its plans to shift to Webkit rendering engine, and a UI overhaul. They had been talking about it for a while now, and today, the new browser has debuted on the Play Store. It looks fresh, feels fresh, and works just fine.

Going forward, there won’t be any Opera Mini or Mobile, for Android phones. The company has ditched the two brands and we have only one browser. It’s currently in Beta, but feels stable enough.

It’s free, and worth a try. Grab it from Google Play.
