Samsung Unveils GT-B9120, A Dual Screen Flip Phone For China Unicom – Gingerbread, 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor
Samsung has unveiled a flip phone, and it runs Android! This one’s exclusively for China Unicom, and probably won’t be seeing the other parts of the world, sadly.
Named the GT-B9120, this flip phone comes with two displays, and no, the outer display is not small. It’s a good 3.5″ Super AMOLED display of 800×480 pixels resolution, ditto for the display on the inside as well. Aside, here are the specs -
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz on top
- Two 3.5″ Super AMOLED displays of 800×480 pixels resolution
- 1.2 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon, Adreno 220 GPU
- 5 MP camera on the back, LED flash, 720p recording at 30 Frames Per Second; front facing 1.3 MP camera
- 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
- HSPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth
- 1500 mAh battery
There is no information about pricing, and availability, as of now. But since the rest of the world won’t be seeing this phone, I don’t think it matters as much, now.
Samsung, we’d definitely like to see this in the other parts of the world, as well.
