Sketch Book Is An Android Tablet, Of Which You Can Configure The Specs

Here’s something new. If you’re looking to buy an Android tablet, but also want the specs of your choice, may have something for you, and at a very good price. They call it the Sketch Book.

Sketch Book Android Tablet

They let you select the specs of your choice, from a drop-down menu. For example, you can get a 7″ or a 10″ display, of either resistive, or capacitive type. You can choose to have an 800 MHz, 1 GHz, or a 1.5 GHz processor, and you can also configure the amount of RAM, camera etc. Nice eh?

With the best specs, the tablet costs INR 10,350, while it costs INR 4,150 with the lowest specs. Oh, and it runs Android. You can choose Android 2.3 or 4.0, either of which won’t affect the price. An example of the tablet with the top specs –

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 10″ Capacitive touchscreen (no information about the resolution, however)
  • 1.5 GHz processor (no mention about the GPU)
  • 5 MP camera, front facing, non-configurable 1 MP camera
  • 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory
  • 3G built-in, Wi-Fi, Gravity sensor

The Sketch Book isn’t really a looker, but the top-end version is quite cheap as it is, so yeah. With the specs I mentioned above, the Sketch Book costs about INR 10,350, or $185. That is quite cheap, considering you get a 10″ capacitive touchscreen and 1 GB RAM + 16 GB internal memory. And a 1.5 GHz processor. Hm, interesting.
