Sony Ericsson Nypon leaks, first smartphone to use NovaThor U8500 chipset

Guys at Xperiablog have got some insider info about Sony Ericsson’s future android lineup. We’ve already seen SE Nozomi. The latest leak is Nypon LT22I. It is rumored that Sony is using its own ST-Ericsson NovaThor U8500 chipset in Nypon. As far as other specs go, they look pretty good on paper.

Sony Ericsson has been using Qualcomm chipsets in all its android smartphones till date. The 45nm NovaThor U8500 chipset a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU.  It is capable of 1080p video recording, HDMI and USB support and supports cameras with up to 20-megapixel sensors.
