Sprint Rolling Out Updates For Evo 4G, Evo Design 4G And Epic 4G, Removes Carrier IQ

Uh, remember Carrier IQ controversy? Sprint was in the center of it, and now it is rolling out updates to the Evo 4G, Evo Design 4G and Epic 4G (If you don’t remember these devices, never mind) which removes Carrier IQ, finally.

Also, there are some bug fixes and improvements. But the one thing that’s common about this update for these three devices is a ‘Security Update’, which is more or less about removing Carrier IQ. However, if you still feel insecure, you could just go to CyanogenMod.com and flash your device with CM7. I’ve done so, and I’ve never been happier.
