The Asus EEE Pad Transformer Is Here, Folks!

Oh well, this shows again how beautiful and intelligent stuff is created. What seems to be a netbook above is actually an Android Tablet. Yes! That’s the Asus EEE Pad Transformer for you! The keyboard? Well, it’s actually a Dock-in keyboard that will also power the Tablet when docked in, in case the Tablet’s own battery drains out! Clever! The brief spec list is:

  • 10.1″  1280×800 resolution display
  • Honeycomb
  • 1 GHz Dual Core Tegra 2 processor
  • 1 GB RAM, 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage
  • 5 MP rear camera, 1.2 MP FCC
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
  • 2-in-1 audio jack (headphone/mic-in), mini HDMI port, SD/SDHC memory card reader, 1x internal microphone, 2x stereo speakers, 1x docking port
  • Two USB ports included in the Dock.

The tablet is already up for pre-order in Taiwan, costing $500 for the dock-less version and $600 with the dock. Check out the preview video by Asus below.
