Velocity Micro Announces Two New Android 4.0 Tablets – 7″ Cruz T507 And 9.7″ Cruz T510
Velocity Micro has announced two new Android 4.0 running tablets today – the Cruz T507 and Cruz T510, sporting 7″ and 9.7″ displays, respectively.
Although you may have not heard about them, the company had released a low-cost Android tablet before, and today, they seem to be firming up their portfolio with a couple more tablets. Interestingly, these two are one of the first few Android 4.0 tablets out there, which is cool as it is.
First up is the Cruz T507. What an inspiring name! The thing comes with a 7″ screen, probably with a resolution of 800×480. There’s a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor under the hood, aided by 400 MHz ARM Mali GPU. On the memory front, there’s 8 GB internal memory, and 512 MB RAM. There will also be a front facing camera, and you can download apps from the pre-installed Amazon App Store for Android.
Next up is the T510, which comes with the same specs as the Cruz T507, save for the 9.7″ display.
The Cruz T507 will be costing somewhere around $150, which is a great price. And the bigger sibling shouldn’t cost a lot more, given that the only aspect in which it betters the T507 is the display size. Also, the tablets look great, I think.
We should know more during the CES. Stay hooked.
