Videocon, an Indian brand, has launched a new tablet running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It supports voice calling, and comes with a 7″ display.

Videocon VT75C Android tablet

The VT 75C (as bad a name as it can get) specs –

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  •  7″ TFT display, 800×480 resolution
  • 1 GHz processor, single core
  • 2 MP rear camera, front facing VGA camera
  • 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card up to 32 GB
  • Voice calling, Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • 3000 mAh battery

The tablet should be available in local stores, for a price of Rs. 6,499. It’s pretty obvious with the price that the VT 75C is an entry-level tablet, and the specs confirm this. As for the real life performance, you have to wonder how it fares.
