Pandora had been one of those apps missing on the Windows Phone platform, until now. The music streaming service has finally released a Windows Phone version, albeit it’s region restricted.
As a special gift to Windows Phone users, you get an ad-free experience for the rest of 2013. That’s still 9+ months to go. The app is free, of course.
Nokia India today launched the Lumia 720 and the Lumia 520 in India, completing its Windows Phone portfolio in one of its most important markets.

Nokia’s excellent Lumia 620 has finally gone on sale in India. Announced back in December, the device has become available in less than 3 months time, which is surprising, considering Nokia’s normal roll out schedules. It is, however, late by a couple of weeks, since the company had announced that the device would be available by February.
So my friend @nilayshah80 just notified that there is an update rolling out for the HTC Windows Phone 8X. I checked on my end, and sure enough, there is an update rolling out. At the moment, I’m still downloading it, but I’ll update this post once it completes. Screenshots above for your perusal.

Microsoft had promised that Windows Phone 8 would have Skype integration built in to the OS. This wasn’t to happen at launch, though. However, Joe Belfiore, Windows Phone’s head, has taken to Twitter to reveal that this is coming, and it will come via an app update, if I’m reading it correctly.

Twitter for Windows Phone has always been frowned upon, since it not only looked ugly, but was also against the Metro design guidelines of Microsoft, making the app look something the rest of the OS was not. Disconnected, in other terms. Also, the iOS and Android apps had all the latest features, but the Windows Phone version continued to look like something from the last year.
Nokia’s hitting lower price points with its two new Lumia devices, announced just a while back at its MWC 2013 event. The Finns announced the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520, fitting in the mid-range and low-range slots, respectively. They both come with Windows Phone 8 out of the box, and resemble the Lumia 820 a lot.
