The CES ’11 seems to be the time when all Android-related rumours seem to find peace. LG’s rumoured flagship, the ‘B’ is actually a part of the Optimus series of smartphones, named as Optimus Black. Now, don’t go by the name; it has ‘the’ brightest display for a smartphone on the Earth, LG claims.
Featuring LG’s innovative NOVA tech, the display is claimed to be 50% brighter than LCDs and AMOLEDs. Where’s the iPhone 4 fellas?
Another highlighted benefit is battery life. Powered by a 1500 mAh source, the Optimus Black improved usage because of the new NOVA tech. While all this seems good on paper, it remains to be seen in real life. We’re waiting folks.
