Video: LG Optimus Pad Official Overview

In this world where things are differentiated as pre-Apple and post-Apple era, tablet computing is evolving faster than ever. It all started with the original iPad, and now that the iPad 2 is already announced, the standard has been raised even higher (or so many think). Well, the fanboys will definitely say that there IS a significant improvement, critics will say there’s not much new. Well, lets not get into this – what I wanted to emphasize is that Tablets WILL replace netbooks faster than it was thought. The LG Optimus Pad definitely tries to do this, bringing with it the goodness of Honeycomb, and the coolness factor of Open Source.

Sporting an 8.9″ ‘3D’ LCD display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H Dual Core processor, the Optimus Pad comes with Dual 5 MP camera which can do full HD recording (full HD only in 2D, HD in 3D). There’s a whopping 32 GB internal storage, expandable upto another 32 GB. There’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. The main attraction will obviously be the Dual Core Tegra 2 processor, enhancing battery life and speedy performance at the same time. Watch the official overview video below:
