E7 hits the stores, finally!

What was announced at the Nokia World last year, and was delayed time and again, the day is finally here. Nokia E7, the latest E-series flagship has been launched. The news first broke out with my friend, Richard Dorman tweeting that his pre-ordered E7 has arrived in the store. Now, just an hour or so back, the official newsletter arrived.

The E7 features a 4” AMOLED display that comes enhanced with Nokia’s proprietary Clear Black Display technology, bringing the best out of the Amoled goodness.

But as reported widely that the E7 would ship with PR2.0, it ships with PR1.1. If at all it would have come with PR2.0, it would ship much, much later.

There’s a slide-out QWERTY keyboard to make sure you type ever faster. There’s an 8 MP, EDoF (bummer) camera that should be good for the business class, but for a flagship, the absence of AF may just frustrate users. There’s a Front facing VGA camera, a proximity sensor beside it as well.

There’s a 680 MHz Arm 11 processor under the hood, assisted by a Broadcom GPU. The battery is of 1200 mAh capacity, HD video recording, and last but the most important, a Document Editor.

Will you grab one? Or wait for the MWC? Let us know.
