Just In: Nokia N9 Arrives In South Africa

Nokia N9 Arrive In South Africa

Uhm, friends from South Africa, say hello to the Nokia N9.

Why?

The thing, the awesofantabulous thing has arrived in your country!

Here’s Richard McCormack, of Nokia Ringaz Blog (Nokia South Africa’s official blog) has said that the N9 was launched in Cape Town today evening. An excerpt –

The new Nokia N9 was launched earlier this evening in the design capital of Cape Town at one of the Mother City’s most stylish and jaw-dropping venues. The DIS Daylight  fashion studio in the city centre has panoramic views of Table Mountain and Robben Island and was chosen as the best backdrop to introduce the Nokia N9 – itself a work of art – to the local market and media.

This stylish, all screen smartphone with unique swipe technology marries cutting edge phone technology with elegant yet functional design excellence.

Amazing! The retail price is estimated at about R5999 (INR 36,000 or $730 approx). Sounds a bit too high, but it’s an initial estimate, hopefully it should sell for lesser price.

PS: We also saw this advert from Vodacom, offering the N9 at R279 per month, but nothing more has reached to us on it, yet. Stay hooked!
