We have been quite late in reporting about the devices launched by Nokia at their NokiaWorld event, but donot curse us – i had exams then!! Lol! Okay, lets get serious. What’s this fuss around C7 all about? Below is an image that rightly justifies the title!
The new Nokia C7 comes in a polished stainless steel case and glass, the touchscreen measuring 3.5” of nHD resolution (640×360 pixels). The touchscreen is capacitive, thankfully, and is an AMOLED one – meaning super sharp and bright screen! Good one Nokia!
There’s also an accelerometer and a compass (magnetometer), and obviously, it comes with Ovi Maps with free turn-by-turn navigation, justifying the use of a Compass. Just above the screen, there is a proximity sensor to auto turn-off the screen during a call.
The C7 comes with Symbian^3, making it the first C-series device to run the latest Symbian version, bringing in multi-touch and what not. Being a Symbian^3 device, the power and memory management are well taken care of. All you need to do is, use it!
Okay, we admit it! We were smitten by this sexy looking device as soon as we saw it. So, full marks to Nokia in this category. It comes in three colors – frosty metal, charcoal black and mahogany brown.
We personally preferred the Mahogany Brown version. Which one do you prefer?
PS : hardware specs up later, stay hooked!
