Nokia Launches The First Windows Phone With NFC – Lumia 610 NFC

Nokia Lumia 610 NFC

Remember the Lumia 610? Sure you do. If you don’t, here’s the device launch details.

Now what do you get when you add NFC to that? You get the Lumia 610 NFC. The device was launched today, after it was leaked a couple of hours before (before the launch). The specs of the device remain the same. But if you want to have a quick glance –

  • Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh (aka Tango)
  • 3.7″ LCD display
  • 800 MHz processor
  • 5 MP main camera, no secondary camera
  • 256 MB RAM, 8 GB internal memory (6 GB usable)
  • NFC

There’s not much to like about this device, but it could be just me (seeing on Twitter, where I seem to be one of the few people who don’t understand the existence of this device).

Nokia says that the Lumia 610 NFC will be available starting Quarter 3 this year. Are you going to remember this device until then? Pretty sure that 90% of the crowd will forget about it.

It looks splendid, though.
