Sorry for that extra long headline, but I had to say it all in one go. Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the much anticipated Galaxy S2 successor, the Galaxy S3, in April. Sounds exciting? Exciting indeed.
What’s better? The rumor mills – they suggest that the Galaxy S3 is going to blow the competition (from MWC – HTC’s One series, Sony’s new Xperia NXT series) out of water. Pretty sure it will. It’s just so easy to guess, that even my dumb phone (Nokia 100) can come up with a couple of guesses. But like always, it’s funny to see and read and experience the rumor mill. It never ceases to amaze me.
Moving on to the device, we know that it will come with a ceramic back. Not sure if it’d just be a ceramic coating to prevent the heat from troubling the users or if the back cover will be fully made out of ceramic, but it’s interesting. The Nokia Pureview 808 too comes with a ceramic coating, albeit it’s made out of polycarbonate.
Oh and yes, it will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Expect a Quad core processor, LTE, NFC and other such stuff. Note that the image above is not that of the Galaxy S3, it’s for illustration purposes only.
