Swype for Symbian gets an update

SWYPE, the popular alternative to default text entry system, has just received an update to v1.0.16481. Forget the number, this is a release candidate, so, in case you decide to update, note that you’ll be having a ‘just there’ app. In other words, you’ll be having an almost final version of the app. There’s some bug fixes and some improvements in the Languages section.

Changelog:
1. Copy and Paste now appear in the Settings menu as well as the Edit Layer.

2. Better support for language downloads and language performance improvements.

3. New languages added are – Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Englishswy, Finnish, French (Canadian), French (European), German, Greek, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Portuguese (European), Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai and Vietnamese.

Note: You’ll need to install the basic SWYPE package first, and then the language packs. Also, before you do any of the above, change your phone’s language to ‘Automatic’ or English. That will avoid any incompatibility issues, as the app is still in ‘Beta’.
