AT&T’s Samsung Exhilarate Is Now Official – 4″ Super AMOLED Display, 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor

AT&T Samsung Exhilarate

Samsung and AT&T have launched another mid-range device, branded as just Samsung Exhilarate. This mid-ranger comes with a 4″ Super AMOLED display and a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. No, no HD resolution, but it’s a good enough 800×480 display. Enough for a mid-ranger.

What I don’t understand, however, is that the Exhilarate runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. I mean, come on, Ice Cream Sandwich was announced back in November last year, and it’s been more than 6 months already, and you launch a Gingerbread device? Tell me your head is locked in your Bank’s locker.

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI
  • 4″ Super AMOLED Display, 800×480 resolution
  • 1.2 GHz dual core Scorpion S3 processor
  • 5 MP main camera, LED flash, 720p recording; front facing 1.3 MP camera
  • Internal memory expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS

The Samsung Exhilarate is going to be available in stores starting June 10th, and expect it to cost something between $50-100.
