Been long since we’ve seen something different from the Koreans, eh. Here’s something.
In collaboration with China Telecom, Samsung has unveiled the SCH-W999, an Android powered phone that comes with two displays, two cores (processor), and supports dual SIM. And then, it’s a clamshell. Been long since we’ve seen clamshells too, right.
Here are the specs:
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 3.5″ WVGA resolution Super AMOLED display. Two of them
- 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor
- 5 MP snapper on the back
- 16 GB internal memory
- Dual SIM (CDMA and GSM supported)
There are not many other details revealed, but it seems that the device could retail for about $1570. That’s …stupidly high price. Still early reports, we’ll see if we can get a confirmation.
