Nokia 808 PureView Gets Its First Software Update (v112), Halves Full Res Pics’ Size
Quick update for the owners of the Nokia 808 PureView (directing all the jealousy in 3..2..) – there’s a new software update available for you lucky guys. It fixes a couple of bugs, and does a couple of improvements. Apart from that, it also reduces the size of the images by 50%. That’s quite something, but I wonder if that has any effect on the quality of the pics.

- Smoother scrolling in all applications.
- Full resolution images now save faster and have half the file size.
- Screen auto-rotation is smoother.
- Many bug fixes and optimisations.
