Nokia 808 PureView Shows Up On Nokia USA Product Page, Launch Imminent
Well, Nokia USA is on the verge of making the 808 PureView official, in the US, of course. A product page has just gone live, hinting that the launch may happen soon. Of course, today.
Nokia USA on Facebook had been hinting about it for the past couple of days, and this product listing more or less confirms all the rumors. Nokia had earlier said that they wouldn’t be launching any new Symbian device in the USA, but they’ll be launching the 808 PureView after all. Sorta ironical, but it makes sense to launch a really great cameraphone, really. Also, they could have done away with launching all the stupid Symbian^3 phones, apart from the E7, in other parts of the world, as well. Well, another post for another day.
If you’re from the US: are you excited about the 808 PureView? It’s been giving some real competition to DSLRs, heck, the Canon 5D Mark III, as well. That’s an achievement in itself for a cameraphone, really.
