Nokia India Launching The 808 PureView On June 13th, Shipments To Start At The Same Time?

I make it a point not to end my titles with a question mark, but I couldn’t help it this time.

An invite just landed in our mailbox, informing us about the launch of the Nokia 808 PureView (finally!) in India. The event is scheduled to take place on June 13th. Two important people will be speaking at the launch, one being a Nokia man, Vipul Mehrotra, Director and Head of smart devices, and the other being from Dolby, Pankaj Kedia, Country Manager.

With that aside, here’s another interesting bit – Nokia India had said a couple of days back that they will start shipping the 808 PureView from mid-June. 13th June falls in that category. So, will Nokia India start shipping the 808 PureView soon after the launch? That would be great. And I do hope they do.
