Nokia To Launch 808 PureView In India By Mid-June, Lumia 900 And Lumia 610 In Q3 2012
I know I know, Nokia has been ‘delaying’ the launch of the 808 PureView, and what not, but here’s the official confirmation – the much wanted device will be launched by mid-June. That’s according to the Nokia officials at Nokia Strategy Summit, which was held in Chennai, India, today.
You already know about the PureView, don’t you? It comes with a 41 MP camera, Nokia Belle FP1 and a 1.3 Ghz processor. There’s a 4″ AMOLED CBD display as well, apart from other things.
The launch schedules of the Lumia 900 and Lumia 610 were also revealed. Nokia will launch them some time in Q3 2012, i.e., between July-September. Both run Windows Phone Tango, and while the Lumia 900 comes with a 4.3″ AMOLED CBD display, and a beautiful polycarbonate unibody, the Lumia 610 comes with a 3.7″ display. Obviously, the former is targeted at the high-end, while the latter is targeted at the lower mid-range.
One more thing – Nokia Music with Mix Radio, for Nokia’s Lumia smartphones, will also be coming in Q3 this year.
