Finally after waiting for more than a month, Nokia India finally launched its monster cameraphone today. For early birds, the 808 will cost Rs. 33,889 from Nokia’s official store. This pricing is a disappointment for people who were expecting it to be under Rs. 30,000 (including me).
Pricing aside, the 808 is a great camera and you wont regret…

A Chinese website recently previewed the 808 PureView. While their preview is in chinese and Google translate fails to make any sense out of it, pictures speak… or rather shout. Every picture is amazing. Note that these pictures were taken in 38/34MP mode and scaled to 8MP. Sadly there is no exif data to read ISO values or shutter speed.
