We have been hearing various rumors about Windows Phone Tango running on low-end hardware. Another rumor says Tango update will not be there for current bunch of devices (Lumia, Radar, Titan etc.) and they will be directly updated to Windows Phone Apollo. Nokia Champagne was leaked earlier today. It was said to run Windows Phone Tango – the next iteration of Windows phone OS. Thanks to Scott we managed to get some details about the device. It is now confirmed that Nokia Champagne runs OS version 7.10.8711 which is a build of Tango as confirmed by i’mWP7 app screenshot.
“i’m a WP7!” is an interesting app that shows WP7 users near you and can show statistics of all WP7 devices that have the app installed. The guys at WPCentral have pulled out some interesting stats from his app.
