There were these reports flying in about Samsung retracting on its words that it’d update the Galaxy S Advance to Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean, after one of the Samsung accounts of Facebook said that the update will be pushed. Today, via Facebook again, Samsung said that the update will be pushed out in January.
While Galaxy Advance and Ace 2 users had lost all hopes of getting official Ice Cream Sandwich update for their devices, Samsung announce that both these devices will be upgraded to Jellybean. Official Samsung Bulgaria page in reply to the query said that both these devices will not be getting Android 4.0 ICS update. They will directly be updated to the latest Androd version 4.1 Jellybean.
