An LG device code named “LG D801″ is currently on top of the GLBenchmarks charts. For now we can only tell that it is most probably the LG Optimus G2 for T-Mobile USA. For the specs we have JellyBean 4.2.2, a 1080p display and Snapdrgon 800 SoC (MSM8974) running at 1.7GHz.
Saholic, an Indian e-tailer has put up the LG Optimus G for sale at a good price of Rs. 30,990. The device will be launching next week, comes with a 4.7″ TrueHD IPS display and a 1.5 GHz Quad core processor. There’s a 13 MP camera on the back, with a 1.3 MP front facing camera.
Continuing to showcase that it has no idea what it is doing, LG today announced the Optimus F series to bolster its LTE offerings. The Korean company announced two new phones, named Optimus F5 and F7, which try to address the upper mid-end and high-end ranges.

Talk about being late. LG has released the much-awaited, denied and granted, ICS update to the Optimus 2X. It gets only Ice Cream Sandwich, though, not Jelly Bean, which had Project Butter. Expect a lot of goodness, but not as much as JB, sadly.
As usual, unlocked, non carrier-branded devices can get the update…
There’s an Optimus, and there’s the Optimus G. LG has taken the sheets off its latest flagship, the Optimus G, featuring the Snapdragon S4 Pro Krait processor, which could propel the device on the top of Android superphones’ list.
The device comes with LTE support as well, so it won’t be fast just software-wise,…
LG also announced the Optimus L9, alongside the Optimus G, its latest flagship. The Korean had announced a new line of phones, Optimus L, and the L9 is the top dog in that line. However, it’s…
Been a long time since I posted anything on here, but I was a bit pre-occupied with some personal work, and studies. But I guess I’m back now, and regular news bits will follow soon.
LG had announced its low end, dual SIM Android phone back in June, and it’s now listed on Flipkart…
Does it get any more lame than this? Probably it cannot. But well, certain Android OEMs are known to pull a trick out of their magical bag every now and then. In keeping with the tradition, LG has revealed plans of pushing out the oh-so-important Ice Cream Sandwich late next year, for a slew…
Aight, I somehow missed on this announcement.
LG has announced Optimus LTE, its first LTE capable device for the Korean market.
The Optimus LTE further expands LG’s Optimus brand, and it’s got the specs as well.

The Optimus line of devices from LG is growing. LG’s just added the Optimus Sol to it, which features an ‘Ultra AMOLED’ touchscreen. Looking at the specs, it looks like an upper mid-range device.
Coming to the Ultra AMOLED. According to LG, it has a two-fold advanced reflection rate compared to standard AMOLED displays. This, apparently, should help…
I never will be able to realize what’s with these silent launches, but here are two devices launched by LG – the Optimus Net and Optimus Pro.
Expanding the Optimus lineup of Android devices, LG is aiming to target the budget segments, what with the Optimus Pro priced at €180 and Optimus Net at €200.
Starting with the Optimus Net, the…
