Nokia just launched the Nokia 515, running on the good old Series 40 platform, with a tiny 2.4″ display and a premium shell at a price that’s premium for the kind of device that it is. Nokia To Reveal An S40 With A 1 GHz Processor?

Yes, I know, it’s weird outright. An S40 with a GHz processor would not only be insane, but also a never-seen-before range of spec  from the Finnish giant.

Up until now, Nokia has resisted jumping into the mad mad specs race, but it could well be giving up. Or not. It’s just a rumor at the moment.

Also, the tweet you see…
