Nokia has started rolling out “Portico” update for international versions of Lumia 920 and 820. The US versions have already got this update. There are no major changes or a definite change-log. This update (version 8.0.10211.204) however brings the much needed “Always On” feature preventing the WiFi from disconnecting after screen time-out. This was earlier possible only using an app.

While Galaxy Advance and Ace 2 users had lost all hopes of getting official Ice Cream Sandwich update for their devices, Samsung announce that both these devices will be upgraded to Jellybean. Official Samsung Bulgaria page in reply to the query said that both these devices will not be getting Android 4.0 ICS update. They will directly be updated to the latest Androd version 4.1 Jellybean.
As promised Sony has started rolling Ice Cream Sandwich update for Xperia Mini Pro. It is a great move by Sony to upgrade their popular low cost Android handsets like the Mini and Mini Pro. The update however is not OTA and you’ll need a PC or Mac to update your device.
