Microsoft Launches Windows Phone In India Along With HTC Radar, Samsung Omnia W And Acer Allegro

Microsoft today formally launched Windows Phone Mango in India, at an event held in Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi.

Besides Mango, three devices were launched as well – HTC Radar, Samsung Omnia W and Acer Allegro. The Acer Allegro is the newbie here, as Radar and Omnia W were already launched some time back.

HTC Radar

HTC Radar Specs –

  • Windows Phone Mango (7.5)
  • 3.8″ Super LCD display of 800×480 resolution
  • 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor; Adreno 205 GPU; 512 MB RAM
  • 5 MP camera with F2.2 lens, LED flash, and BSI sensor (for better low-light captures), can do HD recording; front facing VGA camera
  • Internal memory of 8 GB, user available up to 6.5 GB. Not expandable
  • 3.5mm audio jack; Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1
  • Battery – 1520 mAh, non user-removable
  • Price has been fixed at 23,990 INR

Samsung Omnia W

Samsung Omnia W specs –

  • Windows Phone 7.5 Mango
  • 3.7″ Super AMOLED display
  • 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor; Adreno 205 GPU; 512 MB RAM
  • 5 MP main camera that can do HD (720p) video recording, single LED Flash; VGA camera on the front
  • 8 GB internal memory, non expandable
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1
  • 1500 mAh Li-ion battery
  • Price has been fixed at 19,900 INR

And the Acer Allegro

The detailed specs and images are not out yet, but reports suggest the Allegro would have a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, Windows Phone Mango, and 8 GB internal memory. Scanty, I know. We’ll update you as we know more.
