Rumors: Microsoft To Launch Its ‘Own’ Windows 8/RT Tablet On June 18, Could Be Nokia-made

Microsoft has sent out an invite to some of the top US blogs, informing them about an event that’s going to be held in Los Angeles, on Monday. It’s scheduled late in the day, at about 1530 hours. However, they haven’t revealed anything about anything, yet.

Microsoft’s PR agency, Waggener Edstrom, has sent out the invitation, which goes like this -

“You are invited to an exclusive Microsoft Media event in Los Angeles, California on Monday, June 18th. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.”

Waggener Edstorm handles Windows and Windows Phone, for Microsoft. So, speculation about a Windows 8/RT tablet from the Redmond is rife, even going as far as saying it could be Nokia made.

Let’s wait out before making any more guesses, shall we? Hopefully, it’s a Nokia tablet. I’m curious to see how Nokia does with that form factor, before the die or someone acquires them.
