Nokia Lumia 900 Receiving Software Update, Addresses The ‘Purple Hue’ Issue

If you’re an owner of the Nokia Lumia 900, you should probably hook up your device to your computer and fire up Zune on your Windows PC/Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac. Nokia’s pushing out an update that addresses the infamous ‘purple hue’ issue and a couple more.

  • Removes purple hue which affected the screen of some devices in low light conditions
  • Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance
  • Other minor adjustments and enhancements

The latest software version for Nokia Lumia 900 is SW 2175.1003.8112.12085, and you definitely do not have this version yet, so update!

You can download Zune from here, if you don’t already have it. Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac should be available in the Mac App Store
