Nokia To Bring Lumias To The UAE With Windows Phone 8 Apollo By October
We love leaks. And when they’re as juicy as this one, it’s awesome.
Although there’s no photo/video, before you ask, Nokia Saudi Arabia’s official Twitter channel revealed something in a tweet we all were waiting to hear – Nokia’s Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8 Apollo will be coming to the Kingdom in October.
It also is sort of a vindication of my comments on Twitter – I’ve been saying this all along that Apollo will come somewhere in September-October, but I didn’t expect Nokia to be launching devices simultaneously. Although it’s totally perfect that they do.
Here’s the tweet -

The tweet also revealed that the new Lumias will fully support the Arabic language, something that is not existent in Mango, preventing Nokia from launching the current Lumias in the region.
But one question still persists – will the current Windows Phones be updated to Apollo? The second gen phones like the Titan, all the Lumias except the 610, the Omnia W – I’m expecting these phones to be updated.
