I’m not sure if this is even news, for starters (although you find that word in the headline), but, in an interview to The Verge, Joe Belfiore, the VP at Microsoft for Windows Phone, has spilled the beans on this rather touchy issue. All the Android device manufacturers seem to be competing on the basis of specs, and less on the basis of really UX enhancing software. Oh, they do work on software, but it just doesn’t seem to enhance the UX anyway.
I won’t waste much of your time, because you should rather be watching this interview yourself. Hat tip, Vlad Savov, great interview.
