Microsoft has pushed out an update for Skype for Windows Phone 8, bringing video call quality improvements and People Hub integration, although the changelog in the Windows Phone Store listing doesn’t say anything about the latter. (I’ll be able to share screenshots only in the evening when I’m home.).
The app now also supports video calls with both front and the rear cameras, meaning even better video quality. And you can also switch orientation from Portrait to Landscape and vice-versa, much as in the case of Android version.
People Hub integration implies you can now find a contact’s Skype options when you open their card – Voice, Video, Chat or Write on Wall.
Grab the app from the Windows Phone Store if you haven’t already, or update it on your phone.
