WhatsApp For Windows Phone Updated – Lockscreen Notifs, Backup And More
Lockscreen Notifications support being one of important new additions, WhatsApp’s Windows Phone version has just received a nice update, bringing some much needed improvements and features.
WPCentral’s Daniel Rubino has gathered all the bits and these are the new additions in the update -
- Lock screen notification support
- New Tile design (less cartoony, more Metro)
- Backup function
- Hit “enter” as send
- Mass message
- New Attachment screen, including Audio, Video, Location, Picture, Camera and Contact
- Some new UI layout changes
However, I do find the app to be much buggier. It also keeps Resuming.. all the while, which is very annoying. Hopefully, they’re working on that already.
